About the Company

ResumeIT was formed early in 1997 by the two principal and senior consultants, Mr. Andrew Darby and Mr. Phil Kinch. These two consultants have approximately 45 years combined experience in Business and Information Technology (IT).

Since then ResumeIT has become one of the leading specialist Business Continuity Management (BCM) companies in Australia.

The company is based on Queensland's sunny Gold Coast but has undertaken projects all over Australia and in many South East Asian locations.

In order to provide the complete BCM solution ResumeIT can provide consulting expertise in:

• Business Continuity Management;
• Information Technology Service Management;
• IT Project Management;
• Hardware and Software Sales.

ResumeIT will put together highly experienced project teams to handle projects of all sizes.

Resume IT also provides consultants on a sub-contract basis to other major consulting organisations and in this capacity has partnered firms including IBM, Hewlett Packard, HDS, CITEC and StorageTek.

Resume IT has developed methodologies for Business Continuity Management and IT Service Management based upon Australian & New Zealand standards and worlds 'best practice', including:

• AS/NZS 4360:1999 - Risk Management
• SAA/NZS HB 143:1999 - Guidelines for managing risk in the Australian and New Zealand public sector
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Guidelines
• BCI and DRI Certification Standards for Business Continuity Practitioners
